Melissa Abels

Head Coach

Melissa Abels, a former stay-at-home mom turned empowering CrossFit Level 1 & 2 Coach, Precision Nutrition Coach, and USAW Sports Performance Coach, loves the "Filthy 50" WOD, indulges in chocolate cake, cherishes helping clients hit personal records, and enjoys Sunday runs and football.

Lauren Corcoran

Coach

Lauren Corcoran, a CrossFit Coach and Gracie Survival Tactics Instructor with a Master's in Criminal Justice, shifted from Division I rowing to CrossFit in 2010, coaching by 2018 and winning the Swolemate Showdown in 2019. She dislikes burpee WODs, loves coaching, Mexican food, ice cream, and unwinds with murder mysteries and films like "Pretty Woman."

Tara Nuncio

Tara Nuncio, a CrossFit Level 1 Coach and Nutritional Therapy Practitioner with a love for the community-driven "Murph" WOD and a disdain for thrusters, turned her non-fitness background into a passion for coaching, desserts (minus chocolate), and Thanksgiving meals. She finds joy in the fun, dance, and voice of CrossFit coaching, while embracing her #futuregrandma side through reading, sewing, and cooking.

Victoria Roel

Victoria Roel, a multi-certified CrossFit coach and NASM, PES holder with an athletic background in softball, soccer, and basketball, dreads Assault Bike WODs but loves coaching CrossFit for the joy of seeing clients master new movements, enjoys any meal as a cheat meal, favors chicken with veggies for health, and cherishes "Matilda" as her favorite movie.

Michael Wager

Coach

Michael Wager, certified in CrossFit and weightlifting, shifted from team sports to CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting in 2019, leading him to head the Feel the Steel Barbell Club. He enjoys the humor in handstand walks, favors GRACE and ISABEL WODs, dislikes running and gymnastics, and loves coaching athletes to new heights, with a passion for anime, Korean dramas, and music festivals.
